Now that we’ve covered quite a few of the basics, let’s start building out a lab so that we can begin to learn some of the foundations within a safe learning environment.

In this section we are going to briefly discuss virtualization, but we are more so going to focus on building out a safe learning environment so that we can explore the foundations without worrying about breaking anything.

The reason we are introducing this section so early into our learning journey is for many reasons:

1. we want you to feel safe and confident within your learning environment
2. utilizing a virtual lab will allow you to expand your learning without the worry of breaking anything
